Our Search and Recovery Diver specialty course will teach you the basics of searching for a lost object. You will also learn to recovery the object once it is located this includes the use of lift bags and tying lines underwater to secure and lift the object. Prerequisites: Open water certification Minimum Age, 12 years. What you will learn: • Underwater navigation using natural and compass techniques • Limited visibility search techniques • Carrying deploying and attaching lift bags • Conducting search patterns • Entanglement avoidance • Recovering and preserving objects Equipment Required You use all the basic scuba gear including your underwater compass and a lift bag.
