Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time and reduces your surface interval. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.

Prerequisites:
Open water certification
Minimum Age, 15 years

Dives you will make:
You will complete two open water dives to receive your Nitrox Diver certification card.

What you will learn:
• Techniques for getting more dive time by using enriched air nitrox
• The use of nitrox mixtures from 22 to 40 percent oxygen
• Determine maximum depth limits for your nitrox mixture
• Analyze your breathing mixture
• The physiology of oxygen and nitrogen
• Advantages, disadvantages, and risks of nitrox
• Oxygen toxicity; hazards and precautions of handling oxygen
• The concept of Equivalent Air Depth
• Increased safety margins
• Reduced post dive fatigue
• Extended no-decompression times

Equipment Required
You use all the basic scuba gear, as long as it is designed for use with nitrox. We will insure that your equipment is compatible.

The course fee does not includes the textbook.
