Our Deep Diver course is a must for any diver wishing to explore a little more and will teach you the risks and benefits of deep diving. Many interesting sights lie just beyond 60 foot such as beautiful wall dives, ship wrecks, and critters that don’t come into the shallows. By the end of the course your knowledge and comfort level will have increased. Prerequisites: Open water certification Minimum Age, 15 years. Dives you will make: You will make at least four deep dives under the supervision of your instructior. What you will learn: • Techniques for diving in the deeper range of 60 to 130 feet • Proper descents • Air management • Effects of nitrogen narcosis • Dive planning Equipment Required You use all the basic scuba gear. Learning Materials The course fee does not includes the textbook. Scheduling Your Course Richmond Dive and Travel offers many scheduling and location options for your course. Please consult our training calendar either in the shop or on our web site for dates and locations that meet your needs. The Next Level Many shipwrecks are often found in deeper water. That’s why our Deep Diver course is a natural companion to our Wreck Diver course. |
